The rock Alcatraz prison california!

Hello everyone I have been bad and going to Alcatraz. FOR A  VISIT!

First of all have any of you been to Alcatraz? Or really want to go? Well I really wanted to go. My dad said he could not get online tickets because it was booked☹. So the only option was to get up really early and wait in line for 3 hours buy the tickets then wait one more hour. But it was really worth it!

So Alcatraz prison was a prison for the most dangerous inmates. They were people who kidnapped, murdered, robbed banks, or didn't pay taxes.

John coy was the first to almost escape. He killed guards while in prison then was killed by the military during a escape.  

Prisoners who misbehaved would go to solitary confinement. This was a dark room the size of a normal cell but had a special extra door. the inmate would only be let out once a week to take a shower.

They started playing music at a certain hour. Everyone who wanted to play music would need to wait till then.

Since Alcatraz was 2 miles of freezing water and sharks away from the main land ,there were only three people who escaped and didn't get caught by Alcatraz guards. Their  names where Frank Morris, Clarence Anglin, and John Anglin. they escaped in 1962. They placed dummy heads on their beds to trick the guards. They had dug with hand drills and chisels  in the weakest part of their cell. So they could crawl out their cell and escape from there. The three prisoners where never seen again. However, their tools and items were. The artifacts landed on angel island but the men landed on horseshoe bay.
